ON WITH THE SHOW is a podcast dedicated to exploring the stories of stage-and-screen from entertainment history, including the origins of Broadway, the Las Vegas experience, and more.
Written, produced and hosted by Jen Flood-Carle, this podcast was launched as a passion project in March 2024. This podcast is a heavily-researched work of creative nonfiction, and every reasonable attempt is made at accuracy.
Vision: To reintroduce today’s audiences to entertainers whose stories have been lost to time, reexamine their impact, and to provide deep context and history for those topics.
Jen began her career as a performer, and was a cast member of Donn Arden’s Jubilee! (Ballys, Las Vegas), the Folies Bergere (Tropicana, Las Vegas), the Lido des Paris (Paris, France) and cruise ship productions.
She was inspired to start this project because of a deep passion for the lineage of artists throughout entertainment history. With bookshelves full of novels and biographies of famous stars from stage-and-screen, you’ll often find Jen at local museums, watching documentaries, or diving into a biography of a screen siren or theater icon.
